When you have a piece of stone, or very thin wood, which is touch to joint with table bases by screws, glue a piece of plywood backing at the back is a good solution.
Our plywood backing is 15.5" x 15.5", 1/2" thick, with wood inserts pre-installed, fit with our cast iron bases JK3001, JK3002, JK3010H, JK3011, JK3016, JK3028, JK3029, JK3029H, JK3031, JK3063, JK3063H, JK3185, JK1120.
NOT use our plywood backing with other bases.
